The southern mountain sunset was created to signify the shear beauty of the classic Arizona sunset. Being a guy from New England, it was an incredible experience when I saw my first sunset in Arizona peering over the mountains. I have fallen in love through my years of living in the state and will always cherish each sunset I get to see like this.
This artwork was created using a horizon line with the sun peering over the mountains as the evening fades into night just as the last few minutes of hiking light disappear into the mountains.
