Hunting was something I always wanted to learn growing up but never got the chance to experience. When I moved to the southwest, I began to learn more about conservation, the land and I bought my first shotgun to go hunting. It was in Payson, Arizona I took home my first game and I never valued where my food came from so much until that moment. I purposely challenged myself and continue to challenge myself that if I choose to eat meat, then I should be able to take full responsibility for what I eat. While hunting is still not easy for me, I have a greater appreciation for what nature provides us.
